Kasey Davis is a Pekin senior in the spotlight. He is the son of Mike and Karla Davis and has one sister Kylie.
While in high school he has been involved in football, basketball, track, baseball, FCA and FFA. During the summers he has worked at Bennet Ag Research.
What's your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most? Roaming the halls with my friends.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? Get better grades so I could get scholarships easier.
Finish this sentence, “I could not live without…” My car.
What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? The best thing is not having a full schedule, the worst is knowing it’s my last time doing everything.
Which teacher or staff member had the biggest impact on you and why? Mr. Weber, he’s pushed me to my best potential and never lets me get complacent.
What’s your advice to incoming high school freshmen? Enjoy it, it goes by fast.
What are your plans after graduation? Attend Kirkwood for two years, then maybe finish at Iowa State if I need to.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? I want to bungee jump off a waterfall.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Bahamas, because of the nice weather and it’s pretty.
Who has been your biggest influence and why? My grandpa. He’s always smiling, even if it’s a bad day.
