Pekin senior Keaton York

Keaton York is in the spotlight this week. He is the son of Brandi Erue. He has two siblings, Mason and Landon.

While in school Keaton was involved in basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. He also worked at McDonalds, APB, and A&W.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? I would have focused more on school so I wouldn't have had to stress about catching up so much.

Finish this sentence: "I could not live without..." Money.

What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? Best thing would probably be the easy schedule.

Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why? Mrs. Bates, she motivated and pushed me to get my work done and graduate on time.

Advice to incoming high school freshmen: Turn in your work on time and show up in the beginning so you have an easier life in the future.

What are your plans after graduation? I want to do construction for a year and gain some experience.

What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? I want to go skydiving.

If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go AND why? Atlanta, Georgia because it’s nice weather and has opportunities.

Who has been your biggest influence AND why? I would say my biggest influence has been my mom, she shows me what it’s like to be a good person and live a good life
