Pekin senior Lauren Steigleder

Lauren Steigleder is in the spotlight this week. She is the daughter of Troy and Amy Steigleder, and has two siblings, Audra and Nolan.
In high school, Lauren was involved in cross country, track, FCCLA, FCA, and cross-age mentoring. She has also worked at Brown’s and has babysat.
What’s your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most: Senior Homecoming.
Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” My phone.
What’s the best and/or worst thing about being a senior: The best thing is being the oldest in the school. The worst thing is the year feels so long.
Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why: Mr. V because he always pushes me to do my very best.
Advice to incoming high school freshmen: Be nice and get all your work done.
What are your plans after graduation: My plans after graduation consist of attending Indian Hills and starting with Dental Assisting and then moving on to Dental Hygiene my second year.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime: Running a marathon.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go AND why: Hawaii, because of the ocean and nice weather.
Who has been your biggest influence AND why: My mom because she has always helped me with everything.
