Sarah Hamilton is a Pekin graduate in the spotlight. She is the daughter of Jeremy and Kari Beth Hamilton and has a sister, Natalie.
Sarah was involved in band, choir, FCA, Spanish Club, cross-age mentoring, football managing, helping with the play, Ruritan Rising Senior, NHS, and TAG. She also worked as a child care assistant.
What's your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most? Homecoming week senior year.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? I wouldn’t change anything.
Finish this sentence, “I could not live without…” My family.
What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? Best thing is you don’t have to take as many classes and can take more fun classes. The worst thing is all the goodbyes.
What’s your advice to incoming high school freshmen? Get involved.
What are your plans after graduation? Either go to William Penn for Nursing or go to Iowa State for Early Childhood Education.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? I want to go sky diving.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? The Greek Islands because it’s beautiful, colorful, and that’s where Mamma Mia took place.
Who has been your biggest influence and why? My Dad because of how hard working he is and the example he sets of leading a family.
