Pekin students receive RPP grant

Pekin’s Future Business Leaders of America/Pekin Business Classes, FCCLA, and Culinary Classes applied for an RPP grant for potential additions to some of Pekin’s CTE classes. Over 20 Pekin students zoomed with the grant selection committee to pitch how the grant would benefit them and their school. Students were able to apply for up to $10,000 in awards.

Later that afternoon the Pekin students were awarded the full $10,000. The students did an incredible job advocating for their program. Kelly Goudy and Katie Jacobs helped the students with their presentation.

The $10,000 will go directly to benefit the programs, and purchases will include a Plotter Printer, Blast Chiller, and commercial Dishwasher.
