Pekin teachers attend training
Jun. 16, 2022 10:00 am
Three Pekin teachers recently attended a 2-day training, From Farming Past to Future Innovation, through Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation. Mrs. Eubanks (kindergarten), Mrs. Arendt (5th/6th ELA), and Ms. Winslow (Instructional Coach), learned about different agriculture lessons and toured local farms and businesses. The focus of this workshop was to give learners the background and training to be able to integrate agriculture into the current classroom and curriculum.
