Pekin’s 2022 homecoming court announced
Pekin is celebrating homecoming this week with activities leading up to the football game Friday night.
Wednesday, Sept. 21, the king and queen will be crowned at coronation in the high school gym beginning at 6 p.m. Other activities planned for Wednesday evening included Ironman Volleyball and Powderpuff Football games from 7-9 p.m. The Pekin Sports Boosters, with help from the Richland Fire Department, hosted a bonfire in the parking lot by the football field entrance from 9-10 p.m.
Queen candidates for Pekin's 2022 homecoming are (front, left to right) Quinnlyn Baker, Abby Hammes, Lily Reneker, Sabrina Reneker, Kylie Fitzsimmons, and Claire Roth. King candidates are (back, left to right) Jake Sylvester, Logan Baker, Broc Latcham, Cade Bemis, Hudson Van Engelenhoven, and Luke Long.
