Pekin’s Bowman has art on display at State Capitol

Pekin seventh-grader Bella Bowman stands with her art teacher, Mr. Matt Guise, and Iowa Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg. Bowman’s linocut art piece was chosen as one of 23 artwork to be on display at the State Capitol for the 2024 Governor’s Show throughout March.
Bella was joined by her family at the Iowa State Capitol on March 22. Bella's linocut, "Popsicle Print," is on display in the Capitol through March as part of the 2024 Governor's Show.
