Reed wins Reserve Grand Champion at 2022 Best of the Best show

The 2022 Best of the Best show was held on July 30, 2022 in Marengo. The Grand Champions from 13 Eastern Iowa Counties compete for the Best of the Best Championship from Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Jones, Keokuk, Linn, Poweshiek, Scott, and Tama County for breeding and market cattle, sheep, meat goat and swine and showmanship. Those representing Keokuk County at the 2022 Best of the Best were: Addy Baumert for Breeding Beef; Izzy Heisdorffer for Breeding Meat Goat Doe, Breeding Lamb, and Market Meat Goat; Adalynne Tremmel for Market Lamb; Conner S. Reed for Market Hog and Breeding Gilt; and Hunter Sieren for Market Beef.
Addy Baumert, of Lafayette Feeders 4-H/Sigourney FFA and representing Keokuk County in Breeding Beef won Grand Champion Breeding Heifer at the 2022 Best of The Best show and will compete at the 2022 All Iowa Showdown on Aug. 7 in Oskaloosa. Adalynne Tremmel, Riverside 4-H, representing Keokuk County in Market Lamb won Showmanship for Market Lamb. Conner S. Reed, Patriotic Panthers, representing Keokuk County in Market Hog and Breeding Gilt Divisions won Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog.
