Regional 4-H Photography Workshop is March 8

Calling all 4-H photographers and want-to-be 4-H photographers. Washington County 4-H, with our neighboring 4-H programs, is offering an all-day Photography Workshop at Dallmeyer Hall on the Washington County Fairgrounds March 8 from 9 a.m. — 3 p.m.
Topics will include: Focus, Image Sharpness, Backgrounds, Lighting, Exposure, Cropping Basics, Careers in Photography, How to tell a story in your photo, Presenting images at the fair, Photo mounting practice, and more.
Register online by Feb. 15 at https://go.iastate.edu/Y0WBIB. Limited space available. $15 fee is used to cover expenses associated with the day. 4-Hers must dress for all weather conditions with shoes safe for outdoor photo assignments. 4-Her’s will also need to bring: sack lunch, charged camera, and printed 4” x 6” photo. Parents are welcome to be learners on the side only.
Photography is a great 4-H project area for youth interested in art and they can capture pictures of all topics of interest.
