Richland celebrated with foam and fireworks

There was fun to be had in Richland on July 5 to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend. The Richland Community Club sponsored the event and the large firework display later that evening.
Other sponsors for events held that day included Rosemary Hammes, Sines Plumbing, Farm Bureau Insurance of Fairfield, Federation Bank, Pilot Grove Savings Bank, Panama Transfer, Adrian Trucking, Patty Hammes, and more.
Pekin’s eighth grade had the concession stand open, raising money for the Washington, D.C. trip next spring. Sweet and Saucy also had food available at their food truck. Korwin Hinshaw, Community Club president, announced the events.
