Richland Library program gets messy with slime
Participants at last week's summer library program made lanterns out of Mason jars, tissue paper, mod podge and LED tea lights. They can take their homemade lanterns camping or use as night lights at home. Photo submitted
What is it about making slime that's so appealing? When this group was asked what they wanted to do, their answer was unanimous: make more slime! So we had a second "slimy" event. Some participants followed the exact recipes while others decided to experiment, which often led to "interesting" results. Even the adults decided to get involved in this messy project!
