Richland Public Library honors its volunteers

Richland Public Library honored its 2023-2024 volunteers on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Richland Community Club’s monthly meeting.

Honored were Sandy Eidahl, who has been volunteering with the library’s outreach program since 2012; Jeannie Pedrick, who has actively supported both the adult and children’s program by advertising and providing snacks; and Gisele Perreault, who volunteers at the library’s Tiny Tots and After-School Kids Club programs.

Each volunteer received a bouquet of flowers and will have a plaque honoring them placed in a library book.

The library’s board of trustees were also honored. In addition to attending monthly meetings, board members help set the library policies and oversee the management of the library. Representing the library’s board Tuesday evening were Melody Anderson, Carol Ann Harrington, and new board members Jesse Pedrick and Gisele Perreault. Additional board members are Mike Adrian, Stratton Bond and Warren Winborn.
