Richland Public Library’s teen and adult summer reading program
Jun. 2, 2022 8:57 am
The Richland Public Library is cordially inviting teens and adults to join us for our summer reading program “Beyond the Beaten Path”.
This is your chance to earn prizes for reading (and listening) to books! For every book you check out, read and return to the library, you’ll earn a coupon to enter into our weekly prize drawings. eBooks and eAudio books read and listened to through the Richland Public Library’s online Bridges consortium also will earn coupons for our drawings.
This summer’s prizes include gift cards from Federation Bank, Gas & Goodies, Hy-Vee and Walmart. Adults, 18 and over, can enter their coupons into a drawing to win 2 tickets to the Iowa State University vs Ohio University football game on Sept. 17, 2022 at Jack Trice Stadium! The drawing for the football tickets will be held on June 25, 2022.
For our “tween” participants entering 5th grade and up we’ll have activities, games and crafts planned for Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 p.m. starting on June 9 and ending on July 22nd. Special “tween” events will include a pizza party sponsored by Davis and Sandy Eidahl.
Students entering 5th and 6th grade can choose to participate in either the children’s reading log program or the adults’ reading program. Students entering 7th through 12th grade are part of the adult reading program.
For more information about this program, please call (319-456-6541) or email (richlib@natel.net) the library.
