There is no place like home … the Washington County Fair!

Come and enjoy Kids Day at the 2023 Washington County Fair on Wednesday, July 19. This fun event is hosted by Washington County Extension and Outreach and with fair day sponsor Washington County Hospitals & Clinics. Other partnership sponsors include Farm Bureau Financial Services- Ann C. Williams Agency, Washington Lions Club, Washington County Public Health, and Family Connection.

The morning will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with a variety of hands-on activities all over the fairgrounds. All kids, aged preschool through fifth grade, are welcome to come, learn, and have fun! Participants may come and go to the following activity stations anytime throughout the morning until 11 a.m.:

· Popcorn is provided, courtesy of the Washington Lions Club.

· Join the Horse and Pony Club for games at the Horse Barn! Pony rides are also available and sponsored by Farm Bureau Financial Services — Ann C. Williams Agency.

· Complete a Wizard of Oz X-ray guessing game, yellow brick road hopscotch, farm safety learning and do some coloring and crafts with the Washington County Hospital and Clinics.

Other kids activities throughout the day include:

Visit the round barn from 9:3011 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. for hands-on agriculture learning through Little Hands on the Farm hosted by Ag in the Classroom.

Visit 4-H Hall from 1-3 p.m. for STEAM Adventures with robotics led by the EagleBots 4-H Club.
