Washington Co. 4-H Clothing Event results announced

Twenty-four 4-H'ers participated in the Washington County Clothing Event on Sunday, June 29 at Dallmeyer Hall on the Washington County Fairgrounds to kick off the Washington County Fair season.
4-H members have four categories to participate in: $20 Challenge, Clothing Selection, Fashion Revue, and Innovative Design. In the $20 Challenge category, 4-H’ers shopped for secondhand items totaling $20 or less. This excludes accessories, undergarments and shoes. The Clothing Selection category is purchased clothing for an intended purpose and Fashion Revue category is a constructed outfit. The Innovative Design class is for outfits that are constructed with unconventional materials. In this class, the garment can be modeled by the exhibitor or by the individual it was designed for.
In the Senior $20 Challenge division, Marlee Greiner (76 Progressives), Ava Greiner (76 Progressives), and Adrianne Blauvelt (Limecreek Limelights), were chosen to represent Washington County at the Iowa State Fair Awardrobe Event. In the Senior Clothing Selection division, Ava Greiner and Marlee Greiner both of the 76 Progressives were selected for the Iowa State Fair Awardrobe event, and Adrianne Blauvelt was selected as the State Fair alternate.
In the Intermediate $20 Challenge division Adlei Marek, Alexis Pacha, and Adelinn Beinhart received blues, Hayden Norman received a lavender, and Morgan Bruty received a purple as the most outstanding in the class. In the Intermediate Clothing Selection division, Morgan Bruty received a blue, Adelinn Beinhart received a lavender and Hayden Norman received a purple as the most outstanding in the class.
In the Junior $20 Challenge division, Ledger Milledge received a purple as the most outstanding in the class and Livia Lundberg received a lavender. Receiving blues were Celine Yudelmo, Kassidi Marek, Rose Hammes, Morgan McGlynn, Moriah McGlynn, Maylee Aleen, Eliza Much, Lexi Widmer, Lauren McWhirter, Isebell Beinhart, and Charlotte Langr. In the Junior Clothing Selection division, Ledger Milledge received the class purple award, Livia Lundberg received a lavender. Blue ribbons were awarded to Isebell Beinhart, Rose Hammes, Morgan McGlynn, Moriah McGlynn, Maylee Allen, Eliza Much, and Charlotte Langr.
Adelinn Beinhart was awarded the most outstanding ribbon for Intermediate Fashion Revue.
An evening Results and Runway Show then showcased all 4-Hers and their outfits on the runway that were judged earlier in the day. The audience was able to hear judge comments about the top participants. An additional runway show will be held again for the public at the Washington County Fair on Monday, July 14 at 4 p.m. in combination with the Share the Fun Event at the Washington Community Center with 4-H members and Clover Kids participating together.
