Washington County 4-H’ers will participate in Communications Night on Tuesday, July 8 in Dallmeyer Hall at the fairgrounds. All Washington County 4-H’ers are eligible to participate in Educational Presentations at this event while senior aged 4-H’ers may also participate in Extemporaneous Speaking.
These project areas are one of many that help develop 4-H’ers communication skills by preparing a message, creating visuals, and then delivering the presentation to an audience.
Communications Night is open to the public to come and go to listen and learn about a wide variety of topics, and applaud the youth of our communities and their communication goals. The public is welcome to come and enjoy from 3 p.m. — 8 p.m. on July 8. Communication Night is held the Tuesday before the Washington County Fair.
4-Hers must register to participate in this contest by July 1 through Fair Entry and will be notified with their exact scheduled time.
