Washington County 4-H Photo Mounting Day to be July 9

The Washington County Extension Office is holding a 4-H Photo Mounting Day on Wednesday, July 9, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Washington County Extension Office on the fairgrounds. Photo Mounting Day is open to all Washington County 4-H’ers who want to prepare their photography exhibits for fair. Materials will be available for be purchase that day between 9 a.m. — 1:30 p.m. only.
There will be photo mounting directions and volunteers available to assist. No preregistration is necessary to be a part of mounting day. 4-H’ers only need to bring their printed photos they want exhibited at fair. Matting photos is not a requirement for county fair judging but mounting/matting is a requirement for any photos to be selected for the Iowa State Fair. Matting/mounting cannot to exceed 1/4 inch thick.
All 4-H photography exhibits must be preregistered through Fair Entry by July 9. Help sheets are available from the Extension Office or online. All static/nonlivestock fair exhibits must be preregistered through Fair Entry at http://washingtoncounty.fairentry.com
