Washington County Fair receives grant for Agri-Bot Adventure Experience

MOUNT PLEASANT — The Washington County Fair Association received a $2,500 grant to fund the Agri-Bot Adventure Experience at the 2025 Washington County Fair. The grant is provided through FCSAmerica’s Working Here Fund. The Working Here Fund grant will provide funds to help pay for the cost of the experience.
“We are super excited to bring this adventure to the fair this year” said Chris Graf, fair board member who helped contract the adventure. “This will be a really neat agricultural learning experience mixed with a Camaro to take you across the USA learning fun ag facts.”
Agri-Bot Adventure: From Fields to Futuristic Thrills is described as stepping into a one-of-a-kind experience with Agri-Bot, the awe-inspiring transforming Camaro that merges cutting-edge technology with the heart of American agriculture. Begin your journey along a winding path packed with interactive displays featuring fascinating agricultural facts from across the United States. Discover the secrets of Midwestern cornfields, the story behind California’s lush vineyards, and the heritage of Southern livestock farming.
As you reach the sleek, high-tech Camaro, witness the transformation that will leave you speechless — Agri-Bot comes to life! With glowing lights, mechanical flair, and an inspiring message, it highlights the role of farming in sustaining our future. Fun for all ages, this attraction combines education, entertainment, and the thrill of innovation. Don’t miss your chance to explore the incredible connection between agriculture and technology at this fairground marvel!
Agri-Bot Adventure will be at the Washington County Fair July 14-18 and will be open for multiple hours during those days. Check the fair’s brochure that will be sent to all mailboxes in Washington County in late June or search the app store for “Washington County Fair Iowa” and download our app.
The Washington County Fair Association is one of 97 organizations to receive a Working Here Fund grant in the first quarter of 2025. FCSAmerica awarded more than $350,030 during the latest grant cycle ending March 31, 2025.
“We understand that by educating tomorrow’s farmers today, we are supporting the future of rural communities,” said Kye Kolpin, regional vice president of customer experience in FCSAmerica’s Mount Pleasant office.
