Jeffrey M. Evans recently completed the Certified Arborist examination administered through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and the local chapter of the ISA.

Sherry Pategas has been awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Kaplan University.

Named to the Dean’s List at Kirkwood Community College from Wayland were Sheila A. Evans and Barbi Roth.

WACO had 18 vocalists participate in the Southeast Iowa Youth Honor Choir Festival in Mt. Pleasant on Jan. 21.

Spc. Matthew Dohlman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Dohlman and 2001 WACO graduate, was deployed to Iraq on Jan. 9.

Dale and Geraldine Widmer celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Feb. 5.

Aaron and LeAnn (Farmer) Cary of Eldridge are the parents of a baby boy, Aydan Christopher, born Jan. 26. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Farmer of Wayland are grandparents.
