The Lloyd McIntyre family of rural Wayland lost their home to fire last Saturday afternoon.
Five WACO elementary students had art selected for the Youth Art Month Show in Des Moines in March, Duncan Pickard, Myah Fear, Kendall Leichty, and Kaila Leichty. Kendall and Kaila had their pieces hung in the Governor’s office for part of the month.

A car driven by Karma Roth, age 17, was on a gravel road with the right rear wheel axle broke causing her car to go into the ditch. The car flipped over onto its top. Passengers were Tina Brooks and Corina Sabin.
