Wayland’s WEDC held a groundbreaking ceremony Feb. 11 at the site of the new spec building in the Wayland Industrial Park.

Laurel D. Mast, daughter of Ron and Karen Mast, has been named to the Dean’s List at Goshen College.

Attending Legislative Day at the State Capital from Wayland were Stacy Mast, Greg Rich, Brad Roth, and Urban Roth.

Robert Diers has announced the addition of his daughter, Deb Roth, as a new CUNA Mutual Life Insurance Career Representative.

Tony and Lynette Crawford are the parents of a baby girl. Baylee Dawn was born Feb. 8.

Doris and Milburn Gerig will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 27. A June family celebration will be held in June.

Kara Hultquist has been selected for the University of Iowa Honor Band.

Tammy Lynn Mohr and Charles John Gibbs have announced their engagement.

Rex and Corrine Sinn are hosting an appreciation open house and open new facilities for a tour. The new building replaces the one lost to fire last August.

Mr. and Mrs. Weston Grupe will celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary.
