Mrs. Lillian Hesser is closing the Coppock grocery store on April 1 after 29 years.
Cynthia Faherner and Steven Adams, both of Fairfield, were arrested in connection with the breaking and entering of Roth Hardware and the Shell Station in Wayland.
No injuries were reported as vehicles driven by Dale E. Richenberger and Ralph Christner collided at the corner of Pearl and Main Streets in Wayland.
Mr. and Mrs. David Johanson were honored for their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mary Kay Beckler and Roger Lee Stutzman were married March 7 at Bethel Church.

1965
Thomas Edward Richenberger, age 17, was killed and four others injured when the car they were in left the road south of Washington March 27. Those injured were Ronald Jay Boshart, age 17; James E. Henss, age 18; William J. Thoma, age 18; and Rodney L. Boshart, age 13.
