WACO sophomore Roman Kiefer participated in the World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute at Iowa State University on April 27. Kiefer’s paper focused on foreign aid in Burundi.

2005

Chris and Molly Hartzler are the parents of a baby girl. Kate Magdalen was born on April 21.

2000

Dr. Douglas Eric Reichenbach was a featured medical resident in The Healthline, April 2000 issue of the St. Clare Hospital and Health Services article. Reichenbach was a 1990 graduate of WACO and earned his medical degree in 1998 at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

The Wayland Fire Department honored retiring member Keith Farmer after 30 years of service at their annual banquet.

Harold and Louise Kauffman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Jodi Messer was selected to join Sigma Beta Delta, the national honor society for business, management, and administration, at Coe College in Cedar Rapids.

Mark and Deanna Dugger are the parents of a baby girl. Morgan Elizabeth was born April 25.

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held April 27 for the new apartment to be built at the Way-Mar Apartment Complex in South Wayland.

Donald and Lorene (Graber) Meyer were honored on their 25th wedding anniversary.

Chapter Iowa, J.T.T.T. announced that Ann Wilson has been elected as the Iowa State T.T.T. Historian.
