WACO sophomore Roman Kiefer participated in the World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute at Iowa State University on April 27. Kiefer’s paper focused on foreign aid in Burundi.

Chris and Molly Hartzler are the parents of a baby girl. Kate Magdalen was born on April 21.

Dr. Douglas Eric Reichenbach was a featured medical resident in The Healthline, April 2000 issue of the St. Clare Hospital and Health Services article. Reichenbach was a 1990 graduate of WACO and earned his medical degree in 1998 at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
