•A benefit supper is being held by the Eicher Mennonite Church to help cover costs related to medical expenses related to Ben Creamer’s transplant.
•A group of WACO students, teachers, and parents traveled to New York City to see “Bodies: The Exhibition.” While there they went to a taping of Good Morning America.

•Mark and Linda Boshart, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Nicole, to John Alden Tyson. Amy is a 2005 graduate of WACO and will graduate from Eastern Mennonite University in April. The couple will marry June 27 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, Wayland.

•Delmer and Sharon Wagler celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
•Elsie Campbell, age 72, died April 5 at University of Iowa Hospital.
•H. Pauline McMath, age 79, died April 1 at Mercy Hospital

•Lisa Schmidt and Tim Graber have announced their engagement and June 12 wedding plans.

•Kelly Slagel was honored with a special dinner for his 20 years at Wayland Feed Service.
•Children of Dr. Glen and Helen Widmer spent the day and overnight for “one last time in the house they knew as home” as parents plan to move to Parkview Duplex.
•John M. Anderson, 27-year-old son of John and Jean Anderson, died new New Castle, Australia.
