Yesterday in Wayland

Descendants of the Joseph Reschly family will meet June 22, 2014 for a reunion. A carry-in dinner will be served at noon at Sugar Creek Fellowship Hall in Wayland.

Donald R. Brown, age 70, died May 26 at his Mt. Pleasant home.

In the morning of May 27, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a hold-up alarm from the Iowa State Bank in Mt. Union.

James Boshart and Laurence Henss closed out Boshart-Henss Insurance Agency as it was sold to Wayland State Bank. G. Alan Trembley was named manager of the Wayland Insurance Agency at the Wayland State Bank.

Corey Mitchell Allen age 24, died June 1 at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
