Yesterday in Wayland

The WACO softball team got a 12-11 win over WMU after trailing 10-6 at the end of six innings. WACO’s Kaitie Miles got the win on the mound.

William Joseph Alston, age 73, of Azusa, California died May 29, 2014. Bill and his brother Bob lived in the home of Lyle and Vivian Zehr and their daughter Maribelle in Wayland in the 50s.

On June 18, 2009, Shianne R. Timm, age 22, was westbound on 120th street with she lost control as she was attempting to stop at the stop sign at Dakota Ave. The vehicle entered the south ditch and rolled over onto its top.
