Yesterday in Wayland

Carole Martins joined the Wayland Lions Club. Membership Chairman Brian Pattyson conducted the installation and President Marianne Pattyson presented Carole with her membership Certificate and Lions Pin.

At a change of command ceremony on June 19 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Captain Doug Marsh was installed as a new commander of Company C554.

Named to the Iowa Wesleyan College 2014 Spring Dean’s List from Wayland is Adam Newman.

Chet Fort and his Scout Troop served breakfast at Wayland 4th celebration as his Eagle Scout project. Funds will go to a pavilion at Bomber Field.
