Art walk features Fairfield?s friendliness

I must begin with the organizers and staff involved with Fairfield?s 1st Fridays Art Walk. It has certainly become an event to anticipate ? both by Fairfield citizens and visitors alike. I must begin with the organizers and staff involved with Fairfield?s 1st Fridays Art Walk. It has certainly become an event to anticipate ? both by Fairfield citizens and visitors alike. The variety of events and participants provides more than enough choice of entertainment for attendees! I hope it continues to expand and enjoy an increased attendance each month.
I would like to offer a personal ?thank you? to each of you for your thoroughness in publicizing the list of events and exhibitors ? making it effortless for everyone to participate in the event!
With this letter, I would also like to offer my personal thanks to our Fairfield Ledger staff for their publicity of our Church?s (First United Methodist) involvement in last Friday?s art walk. Due to a miscommunication of sorts, the articles provided the Ledger intended for the previous Friday?s religion page were not published at that time. Thus, they tied our articles to the first Friday agenda. We are grateful for the thoughtful coverage they provided.
We enjoyed a terrifically fun evening, our featured artist (as well as the rest of us) enjoyed the many visitors ? and the homemade ice cream was a treat!
I want to also commend The Fairfield Ledger for their support and for again providing their very special coverage of the monthly exhibits offered by our local Fairfield Art Association. The latest article and photo featured the current showing of watercolors by Richard Leet of Mason City, Iowa. I understand a very nice reception was offered Mr. Leet, prior to the ?unveiling? of his artwork.
Many times, last Friday night, I heard the comment, ?This is such a friendly community.? It?s true.
