Atwoods to celebrate 65th wedding anniversary

The children of Wayne and Judy Atwood will be hosting an open house to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 6, from 2-4 p.m. at Prairie View Church on Highway 78.

Wayne and Judy were united in marriage on Aug. 2, 1958, at the Packwood Methodist Church in Packwood, Iowa.

Wayne and Judy are the parents of Randy (Cindy), Tom (Kay), Lisa (Rusty), Marianne (Greg), and Doug (Missy).

Their five children blessed them with 15 grandchildren, Brandon, Megan, Ashley, Spencer, Austin, Kayla, Trenton, Trever, Brittany, Cody, Brandy, Cameron, Paige, Peyton, Beth; and 21 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hunter, Henry, Easton, Maddax, Beckett, Brooks, Sawyer, Zelda, Maverick, Aiden, Thea, Emma, Ila, Clara, Eliza, Ava, Grady, Ty, Calliope, and Lettie.
