Baumert-Brock reunion held in Richland

The descendants of the Oscar and Bessie Baumert and the Horatio and Matilda Brock families met for their annual reunion, Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Hinshaw Shelter in Richland. There were 39 in attendance. Following the blessing by Gene Baumert, a bountiful, cooperative dinner at noon was enjoyed by all.

Loretta Streigle was the eldest in attendance and her great-grandson Maverick Hervey was the youngest. Traveling from furthest away were Eula, Keaton and Susan Baumert from Florida. A thinking-of-you/get well card was signed for Margaret Burk of Bucklin, MO; A guessing game was played and Sue Pfannebecker was named the winner, being closest to the correct number of M&Ms. Bingo with prizes and Corn Hole bags were played. Picture taking and visiting rounded out the day.

The 2023 reunion will be held, the second Sunday in July (which will be the 9th) at the Hinshaw Shelter in Richland.
