Bentonsport Heritage Day to be celebrated June 24
Bentonsport will hold its annual Heritage Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 24.
Visitors are invited to experience Bentonsport as it was in the 1850s. Meet historic characters and enjoy wagon rides, children’s activities, live music, plus a pre-1840s mountain men camp in riverside park.
Downtown shops will be open, as well as special vendors' stands. Also wine and mead tasting. Enjoy homemade breakfast snacks, quality tasty lunches from three food vendors plus choice of pies.
Visit the vintage portrait area and have your photo taken in 1850s-era clothing. From 1-5 p.m., there will be a special tour of select private homes, schools and gardens.
