How will your high school experiences help you in coming years? High school has helped me learn how to properly handle things at hand, whether it was school or friends. I know how to handle things better because of high school.
Fondest memory of high school? My fondest memory had to have been when we were almost to winter break and I came to our coffee shop in the lounge and some friends were playing the first few seconds of songs, and you had to guess what song it was. We laughed forever and had a great time.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? The teachers that had the biggest impacts on me were Mr. Strasko, Mr. Wixom and Mrs. Hays because they taught me so many lessons about life, and always checked up on me whenever I needed it.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My family, because they have taught me to work for what we want since we live on a farm and that it’s OK if things aren’t for you, but to find what is for you.
What is special about your high school? We are so tight knit. I have been at Cardinal since kindergarten, and I know everyone that is in the high school and even most of the middle schoolers. You never walk through the halls without someone waving at you and saying hello.
If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? Your not going to be perfect. Not everyone is going to be your best friend but be who you know you are and who god knows you are and it will be worth the heartache.
