Carnegie museum announces new website

The Carnegie Historical Museum of Fairfield, Iowa, wishes to announce that a new web site has been developed by board member Jason Strong.
The new website can be found at www.carnegiehistoricalmuseum.com. The updated site includes the following tabs/pages: about, connect, membership, volunteer, and exhibits/displays.
The website will also host a new service currently in development that will allow visitors to take a self-guided tour in the event another tour maybe taking place. The website also directs you to the Carnegie’s social media platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and X. Giving you the ability to interact with our history day by day!
It also provides information regarding the Carnegie Museum and Foundation’s current ongoing projects.
Journey into the past as you enter the Carnegie Historical Museum. Dating back to 1876, it is one of Iowa’s five oldest museums and the first Carnegie Library west of the Mississippi River endowed by Andrew Carnegie.
