GEORGIA TECH
Cary Schaefer of Kalona made the Dean's List for the Spring 2022 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

DMACC
Nearly 1,800 students graduated from the Spring Semester from Des Moines Area Community College’s (DMACC’s) Ankeny, Boone, Carroll, Newton, Urban and West Campuses.
Nathaniel Suddarth of Mt. Pleasant graduated in Liberal Arts.

Des Moines Area Community College President Rob Denson recently released the names of students eligible for the Spring Semester President’s List. To be eligible, a student must have completed a minimum of six credits and earned a 4.0 grade point average for that semester
Olivia Pohren, a student in Liberal Arts from Lockridge, received the honor.
SIMPSON
Three local students earned accolades for their academic performance this past semester at Simpson College in Indianola.
Maggie Fitzpatrick of Mt. Pleasant and Samantha Mellinger of Washington were named to the Spring 2022 President's List. Clarke Latcham of Wellman was named to the Dean’s List.

CENTRAL COLLEGE
Central College is proud to announce this year's recipients of full-tuition Kuyper Scholarships, Rolscreen Foundation Scholarships and the Thomas Ross Smith Scholarship, the most prestigious awards granted at the college.
Sophia Fritz of Brighton, Iowa, was the recipient of the Pella Rolscreen Scholarship. This is a full tuition scholarship. Fritz is a member of the Class of 2026.
Peter H. Kuyper founded Rolscreen Company, known today as Pella Corporation. The Pella Corporation and the shareholder family have been providing Central students with financial assistance through scholarships since 1952, supporting seven different scholarships each year to support student learning at Central. The scholarships include four Pella Rolscreen Scholarships, the Joan Kuyper Farver Scholarship, the P.H. Kuyper Scholarship and the H.S. Kuyper Scholarship.
UPPER IOWA
Upper Iowa University is pleased to announce that Grace Robbins of Mt. Pleasant graduated in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY
Logan Hanson of Washington is among the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois.
COE COLLEGE
Coe College congratulates the nearly 300 students who obtained a degree from the college this past semester. Coe College is based in Cedar Rapids.
The local graduates were:
Torrie Arduser, of Washington, was awarded a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social & Criminal Justice.
Kalynn Batey of Mt. Pleasant graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology and Neuroscience.
Breeana Runyon of Hillsboro graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.
