Dog excrement already problematic
To the editor:
Some in our community don?t like the smell of hog stuff but dog stuff is OK.
I used to walk in Chautauqua Park ? no more. I used to walk on Dave Neff?s hike trail ? no more. Too much dog stuff. Why would this dog park be any different?

Many of us have had enough dog barking. It?s very annoying to most people. The owners of barking dogs have no respect for others.
For those of you who listen to barking dogs, you don?t have to. Call the police.
The police shouldn?t be responsible for this duty. The city should have an animal control person. They say they don?t have any money for this, but look around. They spend a lot of money on dumb things. Have the owners pay a fine. If that doesn?t work, call the police again ? another fine. It will work.
I go downtown early in the morning. I see dog owners walking their dog. Some clean up after their pet ? most don?t. That?s nice. They pee on your shrubs and scratch up your grass.
I truly feel sorry for some pets the way they are treated. It?s sad when the pet is smarter than its owner.
I have had both dogs and cats. I took very good care of them.
See who loves you the most. Put your wife and dog in the trunk of your car on a hot day for about an hour. Let them out and see which one is happy to see you.
