Fairfield Art Association holds plein air painting contest
The Fairfield Art Association held a plein air painting competition at the Fairfield Farmers Market on Saturday, June 18.
Artists were set up all around the market and painted what they saw. The painters were competing for a gift basket from the market vendors, a cash reward of $25, and a membership to the art association.
The market attendees were asked to vote for their favorite and the win was a tie between John Preston and Demerie Faitler.
