Fairfield Art Association to hold annual membership exhibit March 8
The Fairfield Art Association will host The Mark R. Shafer 58th Annual Membership Exhibit from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 8 in the main gallery of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.
The judge’s awards and favorite vote from the Fairfield Public Library Art Purchase will begin at 7 p.m.
Suzan Kessel, FAA Volunteer Director, stated in an email that this year’s show will feature 43 artists and 79 pieces of art. During the event, organizers will announce a major community art piece, which is the new Mark Shafer Memorial Sculpture Project, and announce this summer’s downtown art installation theme.
