Fairfield Beautification Commission gives two Rose Awards
Aug. 3, 2023 11:08 am
The Fairfield Beautification Commission recently recognized two Fairfield homes for their beautiful gardens and landscaping by giving each a Rose Award.
The first Rose Award of the summer was given to Kassia Honeycutt at 103 E. Stone Avenue in Fairfield. The FBC, as well as several community members, had observed Honeycutt’s diligent and daily work in her yard and gardens this season—and her love of blooms is self evident.
Her property is a bouquet of giant zinnias, salvia, snapdragons, wildflowers, sunflowers, and echinacea.
On July 27, 2023, Fairfield residents Elizabeth and Jason Titze at 906 S. 8th Street received a Fairfield Beautification Rose Award for their home landscaping that showcases diverse foliage and greenery, tidy garden spaces, and immaculate sidewalk detailing.
The Fairfield Beautification Commission is a team of Mayor-appointed volunteers who recognize Fairfield residents who’ve gone above and beyond to make their homes, gardens, and landscaping something inspiring to behold.
