Fairfield Beautification Commission to host ‘Street Sweeper’s Ball’ Saturday

Come one, come all to the Street Sweepers Ball! The Fairfield Beautification Commission—a friendly posse of flower loving, tree hugging, tidy-minded volunteers—invites you to join their annual downtown weeding, trimming, and cleanup party on Saturday, June 17, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Meet at the Central Park gazebo to help spruce up downtown garden spaces, sidewalks, and streets. Bring garden tools, trimmers, and brooms—or just yourself. Gloves, water, snacks, and music are provided. All ages are welcome.

“Many hands make light work, the more the merrier, and all that jazz!” said longtime Beautification Commissioner Lou Bolster.
