Fairfield declares snow emergency
Due to predicted weather conditions, the City of Fairfield has declared a snow emergency beginning Thursday, Feb. 16.
On street parking is prohibited in the Central Business District between 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 and 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, and between 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 and 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, or until the street is plowed curb to curb.
Vehicles on all other streets are limited to 24 hours at a time, and are encouraged to park off the street during snow plowing.
