Fairfield High School FBLA holds mentor night
Fairfield High School’s Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) held its annual mentor night Nov. 6.
The event took place at the Fairfield Middle School, with 23 mentors and all of Fairfield’s FBLA chapter. The students sat down with one of the mentors and asked questions about their careers or business for 6 minutes before speaking with another mentor.
This annual event has continued to be beneficial for the students as they not only learn important information that can be used for their upcoming State and National competitions, but they also get to hear about 23 different career paths.
The night came to an end after the students participated in their yearly cookie dough fundraiser by making phone calls to friends, family, and others.
Those in the Fairfield FBLA chapter give thanks to the Friends of Student Business Leaders (Friends of SBL) for planning the evening and continuously supporting the students.
