Jan. 16, 2023 3:31 pm
The Fairfield Middle School is grateful for its partnership with the Fairfield Elks to recognize Students of the Month at Fairfield Middle School.
“These students should be commended for their effort, attitude, and achievement!” said FMS Associate Principal Matt Jones.
The following are the FMS Students of the Month for December 2022, courtesy of their nominating teachers and staff members:
Kate Miller has been selected as the December Student of the Month because of her hard work and leadership. Kate has grit when it comes to school work. She is determined to go above and beyond, and always does her best work. Reading her work makes me proud as a teacher, and I look forward to seeing her thoughts. Kate is a leader in class as well. Her peers look up to her, and she is well liked. She has a great sense of humor, mixed with a little sarcasm, in a respectful way. Kate is a joy to have in class. Congratulations, Kate!
Kellen Copeland has been selected for the 5th Grade Student of the Month for December. Kellen comes to school each day ready to learn. He always has such a great attitude. When he is stuck he works hard until he figures it out and when he understands he helps others. Kellen participates in class and gets along with others. I know I can always count on him. Kellen is a hard worker and I can't wait to see all the great things he does! Congratulations, Kellen!
The Sixth Grade Team is pleased to announce that Elijah Hamilton has been selected as the Student of the Month for December. Elijah works well with others, and has a positive attitude towards learning. He is a hard worker who strives to do his best at all times. Elijah consistently chooses to do the right thing and is a great example of Trojan PRIDE through his words and actions. Congratulations, Elijah, and keep up the great work!
The 6th Grade Team is proud to present December's Student of the Month to Adele Harris. Adele is a leader in the classroom. She is ready to participate and help those around her without a second thought. She works hard in all of her tasks and goes beyond what is expected. She demonstrates Trojan PRIDE through and through. Congratulations, Adele! Keep up the great work!
Emma Cass works hard every day. She asks great questions to improve her learning. She is a hard worker and always puts 100% into everything she does. She is kind to her classmates and is always willing to help others. She sticks up for herself and for others when needed. She does the right thing and sets a good example for her classmates. Keep up the great work, Emma!
Kara Daugherty is responsible and respectful in class. She stays on top of her studies and asks great questions in class. Her confidence in herself and her loyalty to her friends encourages others to do the same and to feel comfortable expressing themselves. She always participates in school wide activities and dress-up days. She has a great sense of humor and she tackles everything that comes her way head-on. She is a true leader. Way to go, Kara!
Rowan Kness has been selected by the 8th Grade Team as December Student of the Month. In and out of the classroom, Rowan has shown tremendous leadership skills, and respect for his peers in an academic and athletic setting. He not only shows interest in his younger peers but has an investment in their well-being and development as leaders. We are proud of you, Rowan!
Aliyah Wilburn has really zoned in this month with her classwork, and has also shown growth in terms of classroom participation. She actively engages and incorporates good humor into classroom discussions. She is always enjoyable to have in class and her big smile is contagious. Aliyah, we are proud of your progress and wish you nothing but the best in your future!
