Fairfield Municipal Band concludes summer concert series

The Fairfield Municipal Band concluded its summer concert series on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

Band Director Jim Edgeton joked that the band had to adapt to the unusual weather, since it was unaccustomed to playing in temperatures below 80 degrees.

The band was supposed to finish its summer concert series on Aug. 5, but an earlier concert was rained out, so the band played an extra week into the summer.
