Fairfield Municipal Band to hold final concert Tuesday

Fairfield residents will have one final chance to catch the Fairfield Municipal Band this summer.
The band’s summer season was supposed to end on Aug. 2, but because one of its concerts in June was rained out, it will make up that concert by extending its season one week. The band will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ron Prill Bandstand in Fairfield’s Central Park.
Residents should come early that night because the Fairfield All-Star Jazz Band will perform at 7 p.m. They will play a mix of jazz, classic rock, and Latin charts during their portion of the concert.
