Fairfield residents to walk in honor of Nohema Graber
Chautauqua Park in Fairfield will host a memorial walk Thursday, Nov. 3 in honor of Nohema Graber, a Fairfield High School Spanish teacher who was killed on Nov. 2, 2021. Attendees to the walk are encouraged to meet at the northwest corner of the trail at 5:15 p.m.
This walk was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but the date was changed to avoid a conflict with a mass being given in Graber’s honor at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Graber was known to walk along the trail in Chautauqua Park every day after school. It is also where her body was found on Nov. 3, 2021. Two Fairfield juveniles have been charged with murdering her.
