Fairfield Fire & Rescue reports the following:
Saturday
11:11 p.m. - The fire department was called to a fire at 1089 Granville Ave., Building 111, Room 24, on the Maharishi University of Management campus. The occupant was burning incense oil. When it flared up, he tried to smother the flames with clothing and the clothing caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and ventilated the residence.
Monday
2:57 p.m. - The fire department was called to a possible car fire at Exit 214 on Highway 34. Nothing was found.
