FMS names Students of the Month

Fairfield Middle School has announced the Students of the Month for January and February.
The monthly recognition of the school’s outstanding students is done through a partnership with Fairfield Elks.
The nominating teachers and staff had this to say about the Students of the Month:
JANUARY
I would like to nominate Braezyn Stutzman to receive the January Student of the Month Award. Braezyn is a very dedicated young lady. She has so much potential, and great “student” qualities. She has demonstrated academic growth this past month by staying focused, working hard, accepting constructive criticism and being prepared. This growth mindset has led to your academic growth. Keep up the amazing work, Braezyn!
The 5th Grade Team is excited to announce Adam Mohamed for January Student of the Month. Adam shows great Trojan PRIDE in and out of the classroom. He shows respect to all that he encounters. Adam works hard in class and is willing to ask for help when needed. He comes to class prepared and is a great role model for those around him. We are proud of his hard work and his accomplishments. Keep up the great work, Adam!
The 6th Grade Team is proud to announce Alex Jo Steward as our Student of the Month for January. Alex Jo is a quiet leader in the classroom. She goes above and beyond in her work for class. Alex Jo brings a positive attitude and has a strong desire to learn. Keep up the good work, and congratulations!
The 6th Grade Team is pleased to present January’s Student of the Month Award to Kris Powell. Kris brings great, positive energy to class each day and is a hard worker. He brightens everyone’s day! He is also kind to others and is always willing to do what is asked of him. Congratulations, Kris!
John Miller exemplifies Trojan PRIDE. He comes to class prepared to learn and has a great attitude. He’s extremely conscientious and excels at all he does. He has a great sense of humor but takes his work seriously. He is always engaged and is a fantastic leader in the classroom. Way to go, John!
Isaac Pappin is a quiet leader in the classroom. He has high standards for himself. His work is exceptional and his attitude is outstanding. Isaac exemplifies Trojan PRIDE every day and is a bright spot in the classroom. Keep up the excellent work, Isaac!
It is with great pride that the 8th Grade Team honors Ledger Dodson for January’s Student of the Month. In addition to being a friend to all, Ledger always puts forth his best effort. His kindness, effort, and good humor brighten everyone's day and make him a good role model. Congratulations, Ledger!
The 8th Grade Team would like to recognize Aja Dorothy as the January’s Student of the Month. Aja is always very polite and respectful to everyone that she has contact with. She does what is expected of her at all times, without complaining. She is a quiet leader among her peers. Congratulations Aja!
FEBRUARY
Maxxon Zaragoza is receiving the Student of the Month for 5th grade. He is always showing Trojan PRIDE in the classroom. He works hard at doing a good job on his work and always comes prepared for class. He is responsible and always is willing to help others when needed. He is a great listener and participates in class discussions. I enjoy Maxxon's fun spirit and energy he has each day. Keep up the great work!
Kate Brecount has been selected to receive the February Student of the Month Award for 5th grade. Kate comes to school each day ready to get to work. She has a great attitude and always comes prepared for class. She is helpful to her peers and works well with others. Kate gives 100% on all she does. She is involved in class discussions and asks for help when needed. Kate is a great example of Trojan PRIDE! Way to go, Kate!
The 6th Grade Team is proud to present February’s Student of the Month award to Jasper Murphey. Jasper has been blossoming in the classroom recently. He’s been responsible about getting his work turned in and has shown a lot of growth this year with participating in class. Above all, his teachers can always count on Jasper to be respectful to others. Congratulations and keep up the great work, Jasper!
The 6th Grade Team is proud to award the February Student of the Month to Ireland Cranston. Ireland is a leader in the classroom and has a caring heart for her classmates. Ireland isn't afraid to take control of her learning and is willing to go above and beyond on classroom assignments. Ireland does all of this while participating in many extracurricular activities. Congratulations, Ireland. Keep up the good work!
Bella Buckley is the 7th Grade Team’s selection for February Student of the Month. Bella comes to class each day with all her materials and prepared to learn. She is always respectful of everyone and treats others with kindness. She is willing to share her thinking with the class and asks great, clarifying questions. She is a conscientious student who takes pride in her work and always puts forth full effort. Keep up the awesome work, Bella!
The 7th Grade Team is pleased to announce Minh Nguyen as their choice for February Student of the Month. Minh has proven to be a very dependable student. He works hard every day. He is dedicated to his learning and willing to put in the extra effort to ensure he is successful. He does a fantastic job asking for help when needed, and he asks excellent questions that explain things to him and his peers. Minh has a great attitude that has influenced others positively. Way to go, Minh!
The 8th Grade Team is proud to announce Ben Bartle has earned the February Student of the Month Award. Ben has shown great growth and leadership in the classroom. He has taken the initiative to get caught up on missing work and has also been a great help towards his classmates. You can always expect him to be working on task and participating in classroom discussion. His kind demeanor and positive attitude is greatly appreciated, get up the great work!
It is with pride that the 8th grade teachers award the Student of the Month to Johana Mora. Johana is a friend to all and her continual high efforts result in high quality work. She takes her studies seriously and is a role model for her peers both in terms of academics and her compassion for others. We are very proud of you, Johana! Keep up the outstanding work!
