FMS Students of the Month

The following students were selected as students of the month for December at Fairfield Middle School. The awards are sponsored by the Fairfield Elks Club.

The nominating teachers and staff had this to say about their outstanding students:

Sydney Stremsterfer is the December Student of the Month. Sydney has a joy about her that is contagious. She loves to learn and comes with a positive attitude each day. Sydney's determination and perseverance shows through in her academics as well as her friendships. She has a kind heart and is always inclusive with all. Congratulations Sydney!

Mason Crew has been selected to receive the December Student of the Month Award! Mason is always willing to help out around the classroom. He is always the first to jump up to help another student with something or even to organize or clean something up. He gets along well with others and works well in groups. Mason has great integrity and I know I can count on him to tell me what really happened. Way to show your Trojan PRIDE, Mason! Congratulations!

The 6th Grade Team would like to congratulate Elliott Ward on being selected by her teachers as the December Student of the Month. Elliott displays a great work ethic and attitude, striving to do her best at all times. Elliott is a quiet leader in the classroom and is willing to help her classmates as well as any adult that needs help. Keep up the good work and congratulations, Elliott!

The 6th Grade Team would like to congratulate Jack Polonsky on being selected by his teachers as the December Student of the Month. Jack displays a great work ethic and attitude, striving to do his best while keeping things light. Jack sets a great example in the classroom as he is willing to go the extra mile to insert levity into classroom routine. Keep up the good work and congratulations, Jack!

Alejandra Carminhato has been selected by the 7th grade team as December Student of the Month. Alejandra is a positive addition to the classroom. She comes in everyday ready to learn with a smile on her face. She brings energy and enthusiasm to the class. She has done a fantastic job of taking care of the work she missed while absent. She is respectful of everyone. She asks good, clarifying questions to improve her understanding of the material. Nice work, Alejandra!

Congratulations to Minh Truong on being chosen as December Student of the Month for 7th grade. Minh consistently shows Trojan PRIDE. He comes to class with a positive attitude and works hard every day. His desire to do well is infectious among his peers. He is kind to others and always does the right thing. Way to go, Minh!

Kyionna Porter is a quiet leader in the classroom. She is always respectful to her teachers and peers. Her effort and willingness to work with others is also appreciated. We are happy to have you as a student this year! Way to go, Kyionna!

Aaden Regur is a very efficient, hardworking student. He has volunteered for classroom roles and will participate in discussions. He is a great addition to the classroom and model for Trojan PRIDE. Keep up the good work, Aaden!
