Grant applications available for Greater Jefferson County Foundation

The Greater Jefferson County announces that Grant Applications are now available to the nonprofit organizations of Jefferson County. The Foundation offers over 47 years of experienced service and growth to the Jefferson County community and now is the time to begin the 2022 Grant Application process.

The Grant application forms may be accessed by going to the website, www.greaterjeffersoncountyfoundation.org and selecting the grants tab. The application portal opens at 8 a.m. May 1, 2022 and ends promptly June 1, 2022 at 4 p.m. Only 2022 online applications will be accepted for this grant period. Instructions and a list of required documents may be found on the website.

These grants to local nonprofit groups have traditionally be used for capital improvements. There are some newer grants that can be utilized for operating funds and are so designated. Area communities benefiting from these grants include Fairfield, Batavia, Libertyville, Lockridge, Pleasant Plain, and Packwood. The board always does their best to see that the grant funds are distributed to all geographic areas of our county.
